Jane by Design Blogging Contest is About to Begin...

The new series, Jane By Design, will begin on ABC Family in January, 2012. To prepare for this new show, some writers/bloggers have been selected to take part in a challenge. The show is about a young high school student who gets a job in a fashion design house, Donovan Decker. Jane must juggle her world as a student with her world in fashion.

This challenge I have undertaken puts me as an "applicant" to the design house. As such I will have several assignments, and the winner of the challenge will get their website featured on the TV show. So, let's get to it. And make sure you tell all your friends, especially young girls, about this so they can get in the spirit of the show. From what I've seen, it is a cute series and filled with plenty of fun for the younger set, and with Andie MacDowell as the fashion mentor, there's some fun for older viewers too!

So now, as I prepare for the challenge phase of my interview process for Donovan Decker, I will take some pride in the fact that a long time ago I had fashion and makeup training when I was doing some photo shoots. That should give me an advantage over the other applicants. If any of my competitors are reading this, you should be nervous about that! Prepare for some fun blogging...
